About Us
The Nokomis Chapter was chartered in 1963. Nokomis continues to give opportunity among the Great Lakes Bay Area region for networking, leadership and philanthropic efforts benefiting its members.
Membership in 1st Quarter 2011
Nokomis Chapter had approximately 24 members. More than 40% have been members for more than 5 years.
Age demographic consisted of: 8% in their 20s, 30% in their 30s, 30% in their 40s, 8% in their 50s, and 24% are 60+
Professions included business owners, administrative assistants, financial professionals, medical professionals, production workers, and retirees.
Cost of Membership
ABWA is a national organization with yearly dues of $90. This covers inclusion in the local chapter, quarterly magazine, online resources, invitations to the yearly district and national conferences, and a national network of women. There are no chapter dues, simply the monthly cost of dinner if you choose to partake.
